Itinerary
Day 01: Transfer From Delhi to Narkanda (430 Kms, 8-9 Hrs)
- Once you reach Delhi airport/railway station, our driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to Narkanda via Pinjore Garden and Timber Trail.
- Drive via the valleys of Shimla is simply fascinating where you will get to witness the best of scenic scapes.
- Ideally, you can ask for a stop over at the place or halt for a lunch break at any restaurant.
- Once you reach Narkanda, Check into your hotel, you can then freshen up and have your dinner.
- It's time to retire for the day.
Day 02: Transfer From Narkanda to Sangla (161 Kms, 7-8 Hrs)
- It's the day when you will get to explore Narkanda and Sangla.
- Have your delicious breakfast, and our driver will take you to Kinnaur Sangla via Jeori, Tapri, and Karchham Dam.
- The best part about the drive is; you can request a stopover at the place.
- You can click amazing pictures at the dam, which is quite popular in the region.
- Take a lunch break at the local restaurant on the way.
- Once you have your lunch, our driver will then drive towards Sangla Valley.
- You will reach Sangla Valley by night. Check in to your hotel and have your dinner.
- It's time to retire for the day.
Day 03: Local Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley
- Have your early breakfast and head to visit Sangla and Kamru villages.
- Once you reach the place, you can request a nature walk to Kamru Fort.
- Visit the temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi - it's famous among the locals in the region.
- Sangla village is located on the banks of Bhaspa and is famous for its fertile soil. It's elevated at 2621 m above sea level, so the views from the valley are breathtaking.
- After which, you can head to Chitkul village, which is the last village on the Indo-Tibet border.
- Many tourists from India come to see the place. You can then head to Bhaspa Valley, which is the most wonderful valley in the region. It's surrounded by slopes and green vegetation.
- Ideally, you can visit the village situated on the banks of Bhaspa - the gigantic Kinner Kailash peak is visible from the place.
- Our driver will then take you back to Sangla Hotel - for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Sangla to Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 meters / 9,048 feet (40
kms/ 2-3 hrs)
- Have your delicious breakfast, and our driver will take you to Kalpa village.
- On the way, there’ll be a stopover at Recongpeo.
- It's also the district headquarters of Kinnaur district.
- You can then halt for lunch at a local restaurant - Indian or Tibetan cuisine - the choice will be yours.
- After which, head to Kalpa village and the nearby Roghi village.
- Both the villages are covered by lovely pine forests and apple farms.
- This is also an ideal place to view the beauty of Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6000 meters).
- The sunrise looks ethereal as the rays fall on snow-capped mountains brimming with crimson light.
- As Kalpa is situated at an altitude of 2759, the views from the place are amazing. Its also known as the heritage village in the region.
- After an eventful day, head back to your hotel for a night's stay at Kalpa Valley.
Day 05: Kalpa to Kaza Via Nako Lake,Tabo 3,050 metres / 10010 feet (200
Kms / 9-10 hrs)
- It is time to witness the beauty of Nako and Tabo, have breakfast, and our driver will take you to Nako Lake and the village via Puh.
- You can admire the wonderful views near the lake, and halt for lunch at the place with lovely views.
- After which, our driver will take you to Tabo en route to visit the Gue village.
- Gue village is also one of the last villages on the Tibet border.
- You can visit the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk, which is about 600 years old here.
- The driver will then take you to Kaza for an overnight stay.
- Have your dinner and retire for the day.
Day 06: Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs)
- Have your delicious breakfast, and our driver will take you to the village of Langza, Kee Monastery, and Chicham Bridge.
- When you reach the place, you can walk around the village and talk to local people.
- Ideally, you can visit the monastery at the top of the village and collect fossils - on the way.
- Yaks grazing the pastures is a common sight here.
- If the climate is clear, you can head to Hikkim and the Komic village - the world’s highest village (4,450 meters) is joined by a motorable road.
- After which, our driver will take you to the village of Kibber.
- Kibber (at 4,200 meters) is also one of the highest villages in the region.
- If lucky, you can sight Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex in the region.
- You can halt for lunch at the Kibber village.
- Have Tibetan dishes and savor the authentic taste.
- It's time to return to Kaza for a night's stay.
Day 07: Kaza to Chandratal Lake (114 Kms, 5-6 HRS)
- Have your breakfast early as today you will visit Chander Tal Lake by passing the Kunzum pass (15,100ft).
- On the way, you can witness the grandeur of CB ranges.
- The lake has a circumference Of 2.5 Kms, and the water is clear blue.
- At times, the surrounding mountains reflect in the clear blue water, making it a perfect photographic shot.
- Ideally, you can spend your day near the lake and admire the natural beauty - around you.
- Have your dinner and enjoy your overnight camping near the lake under the sky full of stars.
Day 08: Chandertal to Manali 2,050 meters / 6,726 feet ( 100 kms / 05-06
hrs)
- Get up to the lovely nature views and have your breakfast near the lake.
- Today our driver will take you to Manali.
- On the way, you will travel through two popular passes in the region Kunzum Pass (4,558 meters / 14,950 feet) and Rohtang Pass (3,980 meters / 13058 feet).
- You can stop at Kunzum Pass and pray at the temple. It offers wonderful views of glaciers and peaks.
- The journey through Rohtang Pass will be mesmerizing.
- Once you reach Manali, you can check into your hotel and explore nearby markets.
- Have dinner and retire for the day.
Day 09: Manali to Delhi (560 kms, 12-13 hrs)
- It's the last day of your splendid tour.
- Have your breakfast, and our driver will drop you at Delhi airport/railway station.
- The drive will be via Kullu, Aut, Hanogi Devi temple, and Pandoh Dam.
- The tour will provide you with some amazing experiences.
