HOW TO REACH:
By Train: The nearest train station, 85 kilometers away, is Pathankot, where you may get a cab to Dharamshala.
By Air: Pathankot is the nearest domestic airport to Dharamshala. Every day, flights from all around India arrive in Pathankot.
By Road: Daily overnight buses go from Chandigarh, Delhi, and Amritsar to Dharamshala. Tourists can also book cabs to get to Dharamshala.
BEST TIME TO VISIT:
You must organize your itinerary around the weather to make every moment of your Dharamshala trip beautiful.
Between March and mid-July is the best time to visit Dharamshala. This lovely hill station will be strewn with colorful and fragrant flowers throughout the summer. The temperature will fluctuate between 22 and 35 degrees Celsius. You may even organize your Dharamshala visit around the Losar Festival, which takes place in February.
